Best Motorcycle Phone Mount ?

It's a pity their customer service sucks though.
I've tried contacting Peak designs via email, facebook etc and no replies

I think Quadlock and PeakDesign are both very good.

I have just switched to PD on the new bike and phone so had to swallow the cost of new mounting but I prefer the case of the bike and the snap on fitting is very nice. I do still give it a tug to make sure it’s secure before I head off though!

Totally the opposite for me . Emailed them about something last year and got a reply within the hour.
I also got an email out of the blue telling me they weren’t happy with the design of my new iPhone 15 Pro Max case as they designed the case before they knew the function of a certain button . Got offered $40 credit or a free newly designed case which simply included the said button now covered up .
Great customer service.

I prefer PD over Quadlock, but am so invested in QL (2x bikes, car, camper) that it would cost a decent wedge to change. Plus, I tend to run iPhones a few generations old, and at the time PD didn't have a case for my handset.

I use the SP Connect with wireless 15W charger and vibration damper.

The comment that the required 90 deg mounting turn can be awkward in some installations is valid (y)

I wouldn't go back to cable charging after my lead caught fire in a downpour whilst stuck in traffic on the M42.

Works for me.

I have a ram X grip that I use on a bicycle (too infrequently :D) and I bought a Quick grip for the bike. Neither have an AV mount (but you can get one). I just use old phones without a sim with them. The handy thing about the Ram stuff is they will fit nearly any phone in XL format. The Quick grip in particular is very secure.

On the Africa Twin I have slung an old small Lowepro camera waist bag over the handlebars and connect to the screen using wired AA. I don't think that much vibration would be transferred to the phone using this setup as its a padded bag loosely attached but must have a go with the resonance app in the article to test it.

I’ve just done a 1400 mile trip to and around Ireland with a Quadlock wireless charging set up for my iPhone which I used for navigation. It performed faultlessly whereas a couple of mates with me had problems with their various waterproof cases with charging leads plugged into them.

Yep, same. My case that I’ve purchased of a fellow in here had failed. Sent them email via online warranty portal a week later new case had la des on my doorstep. Couldn’t ask for more. Not least as I haven’t had original proof of purchase.

The fellow whom I purchased it from, had a faulty case/phone mount, resulting in loosing his iPhone 15 Pro Max at speed, rendering totalled. PD replaced his phone, as well as the case and a new mount. Both of which I’ve purchased.
