Best photos yet of the new R1300GSA

Might not look too bad in the right colour and with some Lomo bags to cover the toaster. And, after a couple of Whiskies.

Interesting that BMW choose a different look for the Gs and GSA. Up till now the GSA simply looked like a beefier version of the GS due to the larger tank capacity, the extra plastics and the raised suspension. But the addition of the toaster panels shows a definite divergence between the two models. While not an instant fan, I think the looks of the GSA will grow on me, much like the updated GS did. Only time will tell.

I actually liked the looks of the GS and GSA in a sort of macho Mad Max kind of way.
This looks unfinished, almost like the bodywork’s missing…. and the last thing that grew on me were warts!

I wonder if anyone will produce an aftermarket version of the toaster panels, it surely couldn't be that hard to make something that looks a bit nicer.

Definitely looks better in black, just like the 13GS.

It is designed to attach all kind of shit to the tank. Imagine going to Costa with some spare rubber attached to your cool machine.
I just hope they don't fuck up the RS/RT.

I still think that it is Fugly and not in a ‘form over fashion’ way like previous GSAs

The poll on here is still showing that 87% of BMW’s target audience don’t like it..

Can’t stand those twin Akras either

Some youtubers are now saying it’s not so bad in the flesh.

Well let me say this 44teeth et al, who has ordered one. Of course you have! BMW gave you a massive discount so you can spread the word which they need. And that boosts your clicks etc. These influencers really must think we’re stupid.

I thought it was horrific when I saw the original launch pictures, but having watched the 44T video, I must say it doesn't look as bad. I'm still not a fan of the "toaster panels" though. As a tall person I appreciate the fact that it hasn't been shrunk too much, like the 13GS was.

The looks will be hidden , by catalogue man and his AliExpress front tank side bags.

I have heard (and maybe someone can confirm) that the tank has the vertical part at the seat to accommodate a huge range of seat height, either through adjustment or different seat options. Supposedly in the range of 3 or 4 inches

Its hideous - understand its a personal thing and many will like it but the icing on the cake for me was the shots now showing the luggage mounting brackets on the rear - they look like parts racking shelf supports.
I was ready for a change this year - and I fell out with my dealer (Vertu BMW in Shipley) so have ordered a Norden 901 Expedition (I'd rather dice with Cam shafts that ride this ugly looking beast)

OMFG

Have you seen the two weld joints on the tank, just in front of the rider seat.

A varicose vein right where you see it. I am stunned!
