Yesterday I rode past Loncliffe Quarry (which I've done many times before) and they'd dragged loads of dust and powder onto the road which they'd then tried to clean but instead created a kind of slurry, needless to say it got all over the bike. I thought I'd give it a wash down as I believe they make a lot of calcium carbonate and lime which I doubt would be very good for the bike, but my god are there loads of awkward places to clean on the 1250 GSA
Anyway, one of the more difficult places to clean was between the cooling fins on the engine blocks, has anyone found a good shaped sponge or brush or something to make this easier, I struggle to get my sausage fingers in there due to the engine guards? I know Harley do a cleaning set to get into the engine fins but I'm not prepared to pay £36 for 3 brushes
I've got 'wheel' brushes but they don't seem to get into all the corners.
