bike to bike radio

was thinking of taking of the rear seat and getting a box made to fit where the rear seat was, or maybe go for the petrol cap locking system with the small 6ltr tank bag,was wondering how other guys have got a round this issue

I think it is possible to mount the top box in the position of the rear seat if it is removed...there has been some posts on this recently...try a search.......I think there was on in GS Mods recently under top box modifications with various pictures??

I made two individual short metal bars on the lathe where I used to work to replace the single metal horizontal seat height bar. The extra space now under the seat allows the Autocom to fit nicely in there with the front of the seat on high and the rear on low.

Phone is via Bluetooth to the GPS so the phone stays in my jacket pocket and I can handle all calls and receive audio prompts from GPS via Autocom/Bluetooth.

Mp3 player is also in my jacket pocket, wired into Autocom. The last Mp3 player died after 6 months in the tankbag (HDD Failure).

PMR446 Radio is in tankbag, wired to Autocom.

'Ultimate Ear' in-ear monitors for crystal clear audio.
