Beware 1200gs
Had my 06 1200gs for 6 weeks and done 2000 miles. Used everyday for London commute and also had a 24 hours 700 mile round trip to North Wales.
1st BM i've owned and if this is anything to go by it won't be the last GREAT BIKE!! not a single niggle to date goes like a dream and yet to top up the oil could not recommend it enough.
I've been a member of this group for a while as I decided on the gs and was concerned with some of the reliability issues being discussed. Appreciate its early days yet but no complaints so far.

just be thanfull - every problem someone else has reduces the probability of one happening to me...
10 months - 13k, find the heated grips are too hot in the summer - expect there will be a recall (or some BMW/Boorman/MacGregor long-way-round TM fancy gloves, also suitable for sat morn on Kings Rd)
Poland next week, nurburgring on way home..
