Went to a party in the Springfield Hotel in Leixlip on Saturday with Racetruck and Warlock.
We checked in at reception and took our bags upstairs and locked them in our room about 3.30pm.
We went down for something to eat and a few bottles of wine with Racetruck & his family.
Came back to our room about 6.30pm and went straight to bed for a quick kip before the party started.
Got up at 8pm had a shower then my better half went to check her mobile phone messages - MISSING
- Looked for my Zumo 550 SatNav - MISSING
- Looked for my Nikon Digital Camera - MISSING.
Examined the door and someone had jemmied it open with a screwdriver while we were in having a meal

.
The Gardai are going to look at the CCTV footage and try to identify the culprit.
We only put our stuff in the room for safety

PS
The hotel was lovely, the staff were great, the food was excellent (especially the chips), the party was terrific

PPS
If you are offered a cheap Garmin Zumo, Sony Ericsson V630i and Nikon S7C in the Dublin area please make arrangements to meet the vendor in a secluded spot and post the details on the board - we could all meet up and admire each other's baseball bats, hurley sticks and iron bars.........................

as they had CCTV, electric doorlocks, security man who patrols the carpark and the corridors, plus staff on duty milling about so they wouldn't pay out.
............ my fingers are crossed.
Got a cheque yesterday from the insurance company.
