Any ideas on this issue? 1200GSA engine cuts out randomly, when applying gas to pull away. Bike is new, with 600 miles. Booked for first service next week. Remus headers and Akro can fitted by dealer prior to collection.
For example, slow down for a roundabout, feet up & clutch in, with option of stopping or going. See a gap, commit to going whilst rolling forwards and accelerating at same time. Engine dies, leaving me exposed having rolled into a closing gap !
. Seems to be related to quick removal of load from engine.
Bike has done it from day I picked it up...
Spoken to two dealers service depts and both said they hadn't heard of that before. One reckoned the throttle bodies needed balancing, the other said no not that, its likely the valve clearances. At least I didn't get the usual "they all do that sir" !
Any ideas?
[Serious comments only pls]
