I went to start my Bike up today and it booted up okay. When I hit the starter it went click, click and then the Bike went dead. No power at all.

I thought, well it blew a fuse, but it has breakers that reset themselves. I turned the bike back on it was still dead. The battery is 9 months old and I ride the bike every day. But I have not been using the Battery Tender.

So I take off the seat and look for shorts, I don't see any. I plug in the Battery Tender. Put the seat back on and turn the Bike on and this time it starts.

Just check the Bike again and found that the positive terminal bolt was loose. I have been doing some riding on bad dirt roads banging the hell out of the Bike, so I hope that is it.

I've had a similar problem when the terminal was not even loose, just not tight enough.

Almost certainly your issue.

Seen a similar problem on a 1988 Mini and 2006 1200GSA, so age is no respecter of having the terminals loose / not fully tightened.
