Sage (not saga) insurance advice, as everI look at the underwriter rather than the broker.
Markerstudy are on the do not touch list.
Ageas & Aviva are preferred. Neither sell bike insurance direct so you have to go via a broker
If a broker is shit you can always go direct to the underwriter. You really do not want to be covered through a Markerstudy broker (C Nash, Swinton et al) and have a policy underwritten by them as well.

And yet when I was with markerstudy they offered more than the market price when one of my bikes was written off?
Quick and easy

unlike some others, they are not owned by Admiral, Esure etc. I generally ignore the "cheaper" ones at the top of the list with stupidly high excesses and pared back policies.
however, I suspect you are wanting to cover multiple bikes which can be more complex than my 1 bike home.
Not looking good so farThanks
Yep 6 bikes
3 main road going bikes (T7 and BMW GS)
3 specialist off-road bikes
So not straightforward as I found out speaking to Bikesure at teatime
