Bike Maintenance

I've been registered for a while now but this is my 1st post, I've picked up a lot of info from the forums for which I'm grateful. I also wish that I'd bought an 1150 earlier!

Can anyone give some info on where I can learn to maintain my bike properly? I'm based in North Yorkshire and would like to be able to service my own machine some time soon..
