Bike ordered

picked her up on Thursday, prepared and presented ready for me to drive off into the sunset when I picked her up in the afternoon.
first impressions, great, smooth, torque from nowhere, and great to be sitting so upright compared to the gixxer. I knew most of this before I made my choice of course, but the long drive home, yes, went the long way :-) just re-inforced that I had made the correct decision.
good progress on the way home, taking roads without a care where they went, I was surprised how some of them were so queit at this rush hour time of day, perhaps I was lost in the moment, no worries about the condition of the road, ignorant of the overbanding and ruts from winters past that would have the gixxer thumping on the suspension, magic.
weekend ahead and miles to go. great .....

pics please and glad your enjoyiong it

Congratulations on the new bike. I am a big gsxr fan, ive had plenty of k1 to k7s, i wish i still had my k1, all great bikes. You are right about the gs/gsa suspension its certainly a step up from the kayaba stuff fitted to gsxr on uk roads. I was out for the first time this year yesterday on the gsa , pissed it down, the gsxr would have been tramlining and weaving and the suspension would have been knocking and crashing on the potholes and poorly surfaced roads.
The gsa was so much more sure footed in comparison, literally gliding over the road imperfections and it made for a much more enjoyable ride, its raining again and im contemplating going out on it today.

much the same as any recent red GSA I'm afraid. using it constantly for work just now, car only during really wet days, and more recently due to the roads being covered in salt again after repeat snow !! aarghhh

lovin it though, Gixxer unlikely to be out this year me thinks..
