Hi, now that Sherlocks are no longer doing any repairs etc. are there any other options apart from main dealers to have my bike serviced in the Exeter area.
Any help would be welcome, don't want to pay the huge amounts that dealers charge ;) BWM have enough money already.

Must admit did not think that Ocean where particularly expensive at my last service, full 12,000 mile plus annual check for less than £200 :thumb

I have to say that less than £200 is not bad although I've never paid as much as that before. Would still be interested if anybody else has any ideas for alternatives to Ocean.

PCH.

I honestly reckon Ocean are alright, just had 24,000 on adv done was about
£260, can't think of anyone in Exeter area I'd trust. I've heard of one over in
South Molton who are meant to be good, I'm sure someone can come up
with the name. :)

The shop at South Molton is Sherlocks. Seems hard to believe that there's no where else.
Oh the joys of living in the sticks.

PCH.
Do it yourself it's not that difficult

Your right, I do the intermediate services myself, there easy to do, all you need really is an oil filter wrench to fit in recess. :)

Could have a try, is the oil wrench the the type that fits over the end of the filter, you put a spanner or wrench on the other end to turn it with?
If it is I've got one of those somewhere.

PCH. :)

I think you can get the correct one from nippy's for around a tenner or so that does the job.

Adam....
