The scond bike in your pics is the 1200 Sport rather than the Griso. Nice looking machine!

Simple really. If you do take your kids to the show (as I have done for the past few years) then they'll nag the hell out of you to have a sit on the bikes. Which is exactly what my 6 year old son did yesterday. (As well as the monster Scaextric track...
)I did make sure that he took great care in getting on and off so that the bikes weren't scuffed. More damage was probably done by careless boots of some adults I think!

Just wish that MOTO GUZZI would wake up their dealer network and begin to create more networks and stop pretending they're artful motorcycle designers/builders with no responsibility for their networks or keeping their networks aggressive and customer focused.
It is frustrating to see such beautiful and invetibe motorcycle supported by a network more suited to looking after a bunch of old bicycles. My mate waited 3 months for some standard parts last year for an 1100 Breva, their bog-standard bike.
And the dealer finally packed in MG after much frustration.
Grrr.

Just testing...
I think if I was going to put a stand at the show it would be selling Sandwiches and Burgers. Whilst awaiting my £5 chicken sandwich the master in charge for frying emptied the till and took out swathes of £20 notes, they must have made a fortune over the weekend.....

I wonder how lucrative it is.............. The organisers will see how much can be made by the burgervans and charge a comensurately high fee. They would hate to see anyone make a killing, apart from themselves.
Anyone know how much to provide "catering" at one of these events??

I was disappointed with the show, there was a whole room being used for a scalextric CAR racing thing, and much less trade stands than previous years. I still had a great time, I really loved the Ducati hypermotard, and I bought a Schubert S1 for £219. I don't need a new helmet, but I think that was a great price and I couldn't find anything else to buy. It was a shame Yam never brought the new Tenere, and the B-King is without a doubt the ugliest bike I've ever seen, oh and I loved the H@rle*y XR1200, but don't tell anyone.

I thought the Show was OK. It's Handy place to meet old friends.
More clothing/helmet/boot manufacturers would have been a welcome addition
but as someone pointed out, companies are interested in sales rather than looking at it as an advertisint opportunity. Altberg, Wolf and Scott were there - which was good.
I was looking for a Baglux bag as my old dart bat was really getting my goat. So I was able to compare the Minisign, Minea and Design (Knowing I could try it on the bike there and then.
So a useful show for me ! (I got the Design in the end).
Enjoyed looking at the bikes sitting, on some and making brmmmmm noises.
The show really needs more of everything, volume and variety to give it the WOW factor. Though it would be a shame if it meant the loss of the smaller stalls.

I was told from one of the catering vans at knockhill BSB a couple of years ago they were paying 6K for the weekend. That was the shiny yellow and crome vans but cant remember their name

Eek! No wonder their grub's so expensive!!
I too recieved the MCN questionaire and completed it immediately, one thing I never moaned about previously was the opening hours, is it just me or is nine to five not a bit tight for time especially if you have to travel any distance. I know it may be dark by then but most of the outdoor events were cancelled / limited or cut short due to the weather on Sat anyway. I think at least six would be better but ideally eight, this would also reduce crowding.
Anyway I'm not happy unless I'm moaning.
