Last Night I had my Honda CRF 250L stolen from the Salford area of Manchester.

The bike is alive but they have made a major drama out of the ignition barrel and the top yoke. £150 for the pleasure to release it from the Police pound!!!!!!!! Would have been free if I was elderly, disabled or out of work........

I dont think they charge to release it, they charge for recovering it . They just wont release it until you have paid for that

They charge to release it and charge for storage. My son was knocked off his bike a few years ago and had to pay for both recovery and storage, the police use a 3rd party to do the work and it is usually a recovery company who, shall we say, "know how to charge".
