Today for the first time since I was 16, I am without a bike, I have slowly sold off 4 bikes and a trike in the last year and the last to go was my 1150GSA yesterday, which is now in it's new home south of the border to a fellow tosser from the forum:tears

Now for the good news, collect my F800GS this Fri:D are there many others out there in the SS?

I may well regrete the discision but you don't know until you try these things.

Fear not O Obese Alopeciad' Robert

A whole new world awaits you.

A world that involves actually being able to pick your bike up when you drop it.

A world of reasonable wieght and size.

A world of riding like a complete twat and going flickety flick as opposed to wallowing like a Fellows Morton and Clayton narrowboat in a hurricane.

A world where stupid amounts of distance can be travelled on an amount of fuel that would not be possible to drown a vole in.

A world where people stop, look and say "that's a fekkin smart looking bike, you good looking chap, you" as opposed to saying " Ooh, look it's Charley and Ewan".......

A world where the lardy GS 1100/1150/1200 has ruled as a stumbling child-king for too long!

A world where all will soon kneel before the almighty GS800 and recognise it as the One True God amongst Tossers. Kneel and weep, you Heretics!

oooh, I need a lie down, now.

Thanks Klanky:thumb, Now I feel better already, its seems I can feel my hair magically growing again and the weight falling off me, maybe my body adapted to being fat and heavy like a GSA and soon I'll be lithe and athletic again, but will it make me more attactive to women too:augie

The 800 light hath shineth upon you.:thumb

Abeit somewhat dim. The headlights' shite.......

Good lookin bike, congratulations, I guess you overcame the Inverness to IOM travel charges. It will be money well spent, its a great bike.

Jimmy

Yep..

Flying Inverness to Manchester, Train to Liverpool, ferry to IOM, Ferry back to Heysham, ride home. Simple! and all at the fraction of the cost for a direct flight to IOM.

I just hope its worth it.

Have to admit your F800GS is one smart looking bike enjoy :thumb, almost as nice as my new steed :D
