Bright and early we set off for Folkestone. Upon arrival at Eurotunnel we see 2 fire engines screaming into the staff entrance - hhmmm, this don't look good I mutter on the Autocom to SWMBO. The same Autocom that I was up at 05:00 fitting this morning.

Low and behold I was right, our little trip to Le-Touquet never happened thanks to a technical problem under the sea. So after a couple of hours we rode back out of the terminal car park and bimbled off to Dungeness for some breakfast.

Maybe serves me right for not taking the chance to go with Wapping and crew last weekend.

I did find out an amazing fact though. I have never been on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch light railway down there, never really had the inclination to be honest. Well that has changed, next sunny day we have I am going down for a ride. Turns out theres only a bar car at the end of the little train, proper drinks as well. I asked the girl operating that element of the train and she confirmed that she had a whole crate of Stella, another of strongbow and another of some other real ale type stuff. Every cloud as they say.

Took some piccies anyway and count myself lucky, we are only half an hour from the tunnel, some other poor sods had ridden/driven for hours.
