Bit weird ..... 12K miles

Just booked my bike in for its 12k service. (One year old)
Thing is, I've told them to fit a new rear. (factory fitted from new) Bit pissed as the tyre only lasted a year :D

Best miles on a rear ?

Riding it.
Went from the anakee 3
Now have anakee wild fitted
Better feel just as much grip.

If you got 12,000 miles out of a rear tyre I’d say that was good!!

Have I miss-understood !! (wouldn't be the first time :-) )
You got 12000 miles from a rear tyre and you're not happy!!!!!!!!!!.
Think myself lucky if I get 4000.

I dont ride around like a pussy either. That 12k was done in 5 months all over Europe, loaded up , and camping sometimes. Im a bit puzzled by this .....
On my 1150GS I was getting over 20K from a Metzerler Tourance (Not EXP)
