Only checking but if i was riding fron Garmish to Baded Baden on a sat to sunday are there any restrictions as read no access to bikers or am i wrong . Just ... Thank plannng my trip so need to know
Don't think there are any restrictions in place in that area, I've ridden through there several times with no problem. What I would say is the B500 on sunny weekends can be chocker with cars and bikes all traveling at 40kph which makes for some frustrating riding!!

There are parts of the B500 where bikes are prohibited on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
The bit I found was when we visited the Touratech factory at Neidereschach.

As a local, I can confirm that there are no restrictions on the B500 specifiically for bikes. Schauinsland has a ban on bikes at weekends and on holidays, plus some minor roads have bans for bikes at night - for either noise or 'cos there's a high risk of losing a bike over the edge somewhere
As mentioned above, particularly at weekends, the B500 is well policed. Speed limit from just above where I live to Baiersbronn is maximum 70kmh. The stretch aftwerards to Freudenstadt is 100. On the BAD side, it's 70kmh, apart from a couple of 100 zones and a couple of 50 zones. Still have points on my licence from one of the latter![]()
What's it like now I'm going next week 2 nd April ?
Snow at present, but the weather forecast says it should be warming up a bit at the weekeend. The B500 between Mummelsee and Kniebis-Alexanderschanze is over 1000m, so snow can last a while - I've experienced light show in June. The webcam for Mummelsee is here:

I know that it's nighttime now![]()
