Keyless ignition just after they sort gearbox/clutch issues they invent a new one that'll be the next big problem looming lol

Given that the ignition switches on the vanilla 1200 GS / GSA's were prone to wear out somewhere between 30 and 50,000 miles, a move to a keyless system would (on the face of it) be a positive step forward. It would of course be in keeping with BMW's continuous march towards product improvement and ultimately complete customer satisfaction, justifying a premium product at a premium price.

Mines been released to the carrier, and is winging its way to the dealer, but it's a GSA, so I can't answer your question!

As it's not a Triple Black I will wager it comes with silver rims

I'd say they will come with silver, they will leave the black rims for a special ed, but you could always have the silver anodised black and rebuilt.

I've got a brand new set of wires ! my mate powder coats wires as a full wheel and they look really smart, the Harley boys do the same, powder coat the full wheel spokes ect.

Keyless ignition on a Jap bike a 1400GTR has been faultless in four years. But that was a standard fit not an extra. I certainly wouldn't pay a couple of hundred quid for it..............

15 GS Artic White ordered. I really do like the blacked out frame and engine and prefer the GS over the extra bulk of the GSA plus I have a lot of SW Motech & Givi luggage and racks from my 13 GSW so I am kinda committed there.

Also order the GSAP & Keyless ignition. Bike is being produced this week then need a to wait a few months for it to be floated over to the land of Oz. And as we only get a 2 year warranty in Oz I ordered an extra year.

Hopefully this one does not blow up like my beloved Red 13 GSW did.

The new 2015 GS is going to be an awsome steed ive had 2 adventures and you do notice the baulk and your arse always gives out to the tank range with the heavier flywheel the GS will pull like a train and with the quick shifter n key go it will be the best yet..excited

Ive also ordered the white 2015 only because it comes with the black engine and frame, the frozen blue would be my choice with the black frame etc, so mines straight to the paint shop when it arrives for a bespoke full paint

Just get the dealer to change the white panels with a bike with frozen blue
