Black R80 G/S Exhaust wanted.

I am after a set of black replacement exhaust pipes and balancer box for my R80 G/S, I have had a bit of a look around the web and seen the keihan stainless steel but I can't find anything that matched the originals: anyone know where I can get some? TIA

That helps a lot Are you restoring the original pipes or using a different set? I think I am right in saying the 100GS pipes fit the 80G/S. If they do, I will try and pick up a used set of pipes and send them to camcoat.

Be aware R100GS front pipes will NOT fit a G/S or ST collector. The ends are not angled the same.

Thanks for that info: so I need a Y piece as well? Or do I need the whole 100GS exhaust system?

If you use R100gs front pipes yes you will need a Y-piece.
Note that an R100gs collector will foul the back wheel on a G/S.
So to summarise.
R100gs front pipes and Y-piece yes.
R100gs front pipes and collector no.
R100gs front pipes and G/S collector no.
