Blow Job

A fellow GSA owner tells me that he always uses an air compressor to 'blow off' his bike after he's given it a good wash down. Would you consider this 'strange' behaviour or does anyone else admit to it? And if so, what compressor system do you use?

Yes I use a leaf blower, its a Bosch one so German like the bike. Allows me to not have to put a wet bike in teh garage and is easier tahn chamoising it as I can get the water out of the small places. I also use it on the car ....

I've been doing it for years, in fact I first saw it done at a dealers.

+2. Now, if I'm really organised I pressure wash it at the garage just before a run, so that its dry by the time I get back.

Sounds reasonable to me. Had a little compressor for years, even use it for blowing up tyres sometimes.

its a trade trick - we used to store all our customer bikes and trade-ins outside - if we had to work on them after it had been raining you'd blow them off.
