If only I could, stinking ferries do my head in, Chunnel anyday at the worst.

Know what you mean. I lived and worked in Assen for four years and it was so easy to access out favourite biking areas. Ferries suck and are expensive - especially when you have to ride from Aberdeen to Newcastle to catch one

Exactly and in summer they just bump the prices up, love Scotland but in the summer...........
