BMW Assist Question?

Hi all,

My bike was carted off to the dealer last week by BMW assist to fix an immobiliser fault. However, it's now up in Essex fixed and it's just not possible for me to collect simply (Work and all that). I wondered had anyone used the BMW assist service to have them deliver the bike back after the dealer had fixed?

If your home address is more than 35 miles from the dealership they will re-deliver bike, best to use Multimap to find distance

Assist??? I think not !!!

Had to use this so called service myself recently when my immobiliser did just that, completely. The service was rubbish, I had to make the calls chasing them up, they caused me to be late for work and when the bike was brought back they damaged the neighbours property!!!

Where in Essex? I am sure a GSer would ride it somewhere for you if asked nicely.

Thanks all.. I chanced my arm with them, despite living 30 miles away, and they delivered it back. Cool.
