Donnie, Cannot find my diary at the moment, think I've left it at work, off the top of my head I think my leave is booked a week ahead of you, so looks like I will see you at John & Ros place ( I stayed their last year for a few days, after dropping my Mrs off at the airport)

Mrs may well go for the car option, may depend on weather, though car could be good for carrying the hairdryer & shoes. I suspect she will fly into klugenfurt again, which will suit me

We are planning leaving here reasonably early on the Friday morning to ride some interesting roads into Croatia. Anyone who will be in the area will be welcome to come along. obviously we are hoping some of you will stay at our place either before or after the event. As usual if you stay at least two nights we give you a free pass to the Grossglockner, Nockalmstrasse etc. We hope to see a few of you here for this event, personally I think it's the best time of year to visit Croatia-no crowds and more than warm enough-expect high 20's and lots of sunshine.

Here is a link to the website www.bmw-bikerdays.com The site uses Google translate for the English so provides entertainment value for that alone-mostly you can work out what they are trying to say.

We are meeting the organiser soon with a view to holding a pre event party here for people travelling down there from northern Europe. We plan then to ride down to Rovinj on the Friday morning, it's around 5.5 hours via a scenic route so we arrive in plenty of time- late afternoon-time to freshen up before a beer or six.

We already have people booked in for this but still have places available. It's a great time of year to ride around here. Usually at least as warm as a British summer (If any of you can remember such a thing) and almost no traffic. As usual if you stay two nights or more with us you get a free pass for the Grossglockner,Nockalmstrasse, etc.
