BMW Breakdown Cover Cost - Ireland

Folks

just wondering, what do you pay for 12 month extension of your official BMW breakdown assist & warranty ?

Can get a new bike cheap(ish) buit will have to get the second yr warranty myself, just in case.

If its a waste of money tell me, havent got the bike yet. Still got a couple to narrow it down to with options etc.

I don't think it's worth it and if I remember correctly you must get it serviced in a BMW dealer. It's not a warranty more like a Insurence policy most Insurence company's offer 'free ' brakedown cover anyway. JJH

i be of opinion, get good AA cover if worried about break down and either do work yourself or find good back door mechanic that knows his bikes but doesnt charge through the roof for hourly rates.

will find most DIYr's can do lot of the work themselves and lot help in here too so if unsure just ask

i would rather buy a cheapo 2nd bike for cost of warranty and breakdown cover and if main bike breaks down least have backup while fix your bmw.

Just joined the AA myself, bike just out of its 2yr warranty. Breakdown covers anywhere in UK & Ireland. If they cant fix it, they take you home.
