Speed camera warnings. Yes/no? Nobody able to answer this..?

I a have emailed BMW. It would seem they too are a bit DEAF as there has been no response to emails..

I’ve looked at my BMW CRN and I can’t find a way of displaying speed cameras. I ride mostly in France and parts of mainland Europe, so don’t want cameras shown. I just keep my eyes peeled, but tend not to go too bonkers over there, anyway. CRN has the option to display speed limits for the area that you’re in, which is useful.

Ok, thanks. I use the tomtom navigation app on my mobile. Works very well most of the time. In settings I can select dangerous roads, which is basically camera warning, without them calling it camera warning. Just a legal workaround.
As to showing the speed limit, my car, sat nav and googlemaps will often show differing speed limits. Absolutely not to be relied upon!

At a push I can run the app on my phone in the background and get audible warnings to my intercom. This can be hit and miss though compared to seeing well in advance a warning of upcoming hazards.
As to going steady. Fine. But there are so many cameras these days that even making a conscious effort to be within the limit, it is very easy to miss cameras. I would rather concentrate on the road ahead than be looking down at my speedo all of the time.

Still a no from me!

Checked out the CRN again earlier today… just in case I missed something, but could find no feature or option to warn of speed cameras.
