I hate to see the PX ones going in at such a low price... Got a mate who was offered £8k for a mint 2014 LC with 11K miles on it... they will sell this for £10K plus... Why don't people put them on here mid way, then its win / win for us all?....

They sell it, including 2yrs warranty, pay VAT on profit, have business costs to pay and then corp tax.........
I think you are expecting them to be a charity?
Not expecting them to be a charity , my point was that at the time my bike had the transferable BMW extended warranty that had been paid for (12 months) , the next owner could then renew the warranty the following year as long as they kept up the service history (at the time £300) .
So for £2500 less than the then dealer prices they would get a bike that had just been BMW serviced , had new tyres, a load of extras plus original parts, a years MOT and the full warranty and for the price of a £200 service and £300 they could extend it for a further year and then still be £2000 in pocket and yet at the time I got zero enquiries.
Tried that 4 years ago with an immaculate 3 year old R1200GSA , fsh, low mileage fitted with panniers , extras and Maxton suspension and new tyres , it also had the transfereable BMW extended warranty and I advertised it at mid way between the ridiculous low part ex offer and the dealer selling prices .
Not one enquiry , at the same time an ex work colleague was after a similar bike and paid £3000 more for an almost identical bike from a local dealer that was not as well looked after .
Go Figure , many will happily pay a dealer over the odds.
In the end kept it for another 16 months and still sold it for £1500 more than the initial part ex offer

Just bought privately, better deal than any of the lazy money grabbers showrooms I have been in recently.
got to say, the local one I go to sound like the same set up... I want to pay cash for a bike, but that does not float their boat... they was finance or 3 year HP with buy options at the end.... go in with money and they don't like to talk too long????...
Despite buying a new bike every 2-3 years for the past 10 years or so, Allan Jefferies have lost all interest in trying to sell me a new bike as I said I would just pay cash to change. Unless it’s a PCP or HP deal they’re just not interested as they make more money on the finance deal
