Head Banging
I do experience some buffeting but this seems to be when following large vans at or above 70 mph.
IMO, a great alternative to the Tour-X if you have a BMW shaped head but not an all year helmet.
What is a BMW shaped head? And presumably when you say 'not an all year helmet' you mean it is ideally suited for the 'Summer' ? (whatever that is).
On the subject of buffeting - any motorway trips above 60 mph result in constant buffeting from the standard screen on my 07 GS. I have been recommended to try Nippy Norman's High & Wide screen which is said to be really smooth and quiet - it doesnt look as nice as the BMW screen but does it give you a quiet ride? Has anyone tried one - or can you suggest a better alternative? What about the GSA screen? Or one of those clip on spoilers ?

I have tried Arai and they are excruciatingly painful.

. After being checked out my skull was intact but brusied mainly due to the glasses that I was wearing and a bruised ear due to the intercom.
