just been told by North Oxford BMW 6000 mile service on my twin cam 2012 gs will be £420 . is there a cheaper dealer out there or do you hold your customers to ransom.My audi q5 1800 mile service was £340 no wonder I buy a new audi every two years and not a bmw

The service price differential between bikes and cars has been done to death on here. If you aren't happy, ring around and may I bring to your attention the excellent independents around which gives you another option.
You aren't a million miles away from Steptoe so give him a bell and get you bike done there. You'll get a proper service and your book stamped up

I just had mine done last week at cannons in Braintree before I px it for an LC Doh! £229 give them a ring nice ride over to Essex!

That seems to be an average price from a Beemer Dealer.
I paid £220 something when I had mine done at the dealers in Wolverhampton and Gloucester quoted almost exactly the same price.
I will definitely be going down the independent route next time.
Mine is booked in at North Oxford for next friday for its 18k service and they looked up on their puter what needed doing and I was told it's just the standard 18K service with no extras and its £256 inc vat.
