That sounds like what I'm looking for, How much are they?
Mine was $1300 Aus Dollars but must be less expensive in other parts of the world as we seem to get shafted in Australia on anything with BMW on it.

Put down my deposit today, well yesterday, I've just noticed its Sunday now! Anyway, I've got from now till when the actual order is placed to decide on colour and options.
Looking forward to owning one but it will be a massive wrench to see the S1000RR go! I did think about keeping it and having the two but I get this feeling that the RR would get left in the garage for most of the time and rarely get used. I think because I've been doing the sports bike thing for so long now, I'm just ready for something completely different. I'm actually quite excited...!
Cheers Terry, I'm looking forward to a complete change... I've seen what the GS is capable of, and it's versatility, so I'm sure that I'll enjoy it for more days of the year, and in a wider range of riding scenarios than the S1000RR. The RR is an absolutely awesome bike and I've thoroughly enjoyed riding it on road and track, as well as cleaning and polishing it (and admiring it) but know that I'll do more miles on the GSA when I get it.
I've had a deposit on one since July. I've now seen the specs so know what's available.
Not sure about the Khaki. I like blue, but not certain about the blue seat?
White seems a bit wishy washy? Will wait until I've seen them at the show until I decide.
I'm also hoping the "1200" decal comes off.
Other than that I'm having an LE with Ally panniers, top box and a new BMW Navigator as I'm selling the old one with my current GSA (Deal Done).
Will get a HP Pipe on it if I can hear one first.
Hoping to pick it up from Williams on or near launch day.

I have the HP pipe and think it sounds just right. Of course this varies with ones taste but would describe the sound with baffles out as perfect for me. Not too loud but enough sound to let one have a sense that the thing is alive.
To my ears the stock bike sounds anaemic with the standard can... The Akra brings it to life with its growl, burbling and popping. An essential purchase.

Quite fancy one subject to test ride and more importantly PRICE!!!!
