GSW Adventure wheels.

The black spoked rims would look nice, tho after today I've realised spokes are hard work to clean, but than again I've now got some Saturn black mags :)

Sorry graham, no pics yet I've not collected them from my mate the powder coater .

Yep rich, 1st day out today, oddly it seems to handle different with wires ! Ie seemed not as good as with the mags, a bit more input needed ! Do wires have a different effect on handling ! Mind you i forgot it only had 1 mile on the clock so tyres not scrubbed in and i was probably bordering on pushing my luck to far :(

Had one occasion with backlash when changing gear, the rest of the time it seemed ok and it was snick snick thro the box, my Q'S works brill. Fly by wire on this bike very very sensitive to the slightest movement ie with all the pot holes you need to be dialled in with the throttle . The full akro system is slightly louder and the pops as i snick snick tho the box with the quick shifter are clearly heard :) . Seems to have a lot more go with the system with instant pickup, rolling on the throttle in any gear made it take off like a scalded cat. Fuelling surge when you come off the gas around 2700rpm still very slightly noticeable as per my last bike, i will have that sorted when i get it mapped. I did notice the engine is noisier (tapperty) than my last bike its probably on par with the ducati i had now :)

The steering damper can only be noticed when pushing the bike around, however it was nice to get back on it again and my day out brought home, yet again just how good the wc is .

Now back on topic wires are a nightmare to clean...

Glad you finally got it out, and that I'm not the only one that noticed quite a difference between the 2013, and 2014.:thumby:
