Ta....but from experience I'm not sure these sorts of things are ever 'finished'!!This is looking to be a great build…… can’t wait to see the finished bike

Great work. Impressed with the weight. What's the plan once finished?Hello, sorry to not have updated here in ages but I am not brilliant with tech and having to upload photos via Flickr or Facebook etc is painful and when I last tried I spent an hour and could not get Flickr to work at all
Progress has been steady, electrics, exhaust, brakes etc all done and about 2 weeks away from starting the shakedown. After shakedown it's back to fettling then paint so still a few months away from the finished article. Weight is 140 kg so pretty much bang on what I was hoping for.
I have a private Facebook group with current photos info etc if anyone is interested in seeing pics (Laverda BMW G/S). Cheers John
Plan is to ride it! I'm surrounded by green lanes and old ISDT routes here on the Welsh borders.Great work. Impressed with the weight. What's the plan once finished?
Hello and sorry for the lack of updates on here trying to get pictures uploaded on here with my addled brain is beyond me. Yes it's finished and I gave it to Classic Bike to have a play. The photographer, Chippy was a top bloke and Bob Dixon the writer and rider on the shoot was a Laverda team rider and off-road guru and gave the bike a proper hammering. Judging from the smiles on both I think they liked it so look forward to buying a copy next month. CheersIs it finished? Is it the one in next month's classic bike mag. Update required please!!!!

Didnt they create the duolever not the teleleverOf course many GS owners owe a little to another Laverda connection: the Telelever front end. Developed by Todd Laverda and Saxon Racing for the Motodd Laverda specials.
That was Norman Hossack and don't think BMW paid to use his inventionDidnt they create the duolever not the telelever
