Sorry for the beginners question...

Im looking for a suitable bluetooth earpiece kit for a BMW Motorrad Navigator IV

I don't collect my newly purchased 2009 GSA from the dealer until tomorrow, so haven't been able to read the literature, but I'm looking at investing in a better helmet, possibly a Shoei Neotec. I need to decide whether to get the standard helmet and an additional comms system, or buy it with the Shoei Cardo SHO-1 system?

Oh, and i assume my BMW mount will block any cable access?

Thanks mate, Ill take a look at the Scala Q3:thumb2

Would you suggest I purchase my Shoei Neotec helmet with their Cardo SHO-1 comms system fitted, or just buy a separate unit such as the Q3? Are their pros/cons with both options?

Scala q3

hi I am just about to put my scala q3 for sale on this site. Its in good condition with all original packing. Has spare earphone covers, mike covers, spare mike on flying lead plus the stick on mount bracket which I never used. Includes allen key to fix the clamp on with and all leads.
For some reason there is a two pin plug with it but ill include the adaptor socket in the photo.
Ther is a couple of small sctaches on the bottom left which are not visible in the photo.
£85 delivered please

Just on my way to the ferry shortly ...

Got a Shoei Neotec Cardo SHO-1 blue tooth headset for sale methinks

It's been fitted but never been used ... to be honest it's a bit too fiddly for me, I think I'll stick to my own sound monitors in to my own earplugs with 3.5mm plug in to my iPod. I don't really need my GPS talking to me ;)

Cost £299.99 would take £200.00 for it. As said .... brand new. Was going to put it up on here when I got back from Wunderbar Deutschland next weekend :D

:beerjug:

Edit .... the Shoei Neotec is a superb helmet :thumb

I might be interested. I assumed the Cardo SHO-1 had to be factory fitted at the point of ordering the helmet, but obviously I got that wrong?

It comes with specific mounts for the Shoei Neotech and when fitted it looks like a factory fitted jobby :thumb

M'on the ferry later today, will be back on WiFi tomorrow evening hopefully :D

Taken it out of my helmet, not been used outside the house. Can't be fussed with it, all sounds a bit complicated to me, but then everyone else seems to manage OK :rob

Thanks Mick, ill give it some serious consideration. Im off to a few retailers in the next day or so to try the Neotec out for size. If it fits my fat head Ill buy it and let you know:thumb2

Hi to answer your query it clamps to the helmet or is stuck to it. I had it clamped to mine (shcuberth S2) so the attachments for "sticking" are unused. There is a boom mikeand one on a flying lead. Only used the boom one which can be tucked away neatly when not in use.

Thanks. So does the Navigator IV give verbal instructions that can be heard via a bluetooth earpiece?

It certainly does. It'll also play music files stored on a Micro SD card and act as a hub for your phone.

I have an xxxl head and the only helmets that seem to fit me are Shoei
