Thinking of doing this in the spring.

Anyone attended and if so what did you think? :)

excellent. Went last spring and was worth every penny - if just to be able to smack up their bitches :D

Would phone up ASAP if considering it.

I tried to go last year but was booked right up.
Have just got on a date in March due to cancellation.

My problem is accommodation, list of accomm provided seams
all booked 25 & 26th March.

Anyone who's been got any good B&B's... or anyone going on 26/27 March 06
fancy sharing a room and the costs???

Don't think twice. If you've got the time, and the money, just do it.

HP2 chance?

Yep definately do it - done it twice, loved it.

Had a go on an adventure whilst there and as a result would do it all on a 1200 now (I didn't expect it to be as easy as it was and I was an off-road virgin) they weren't around when I last went. Rumour has it an HP2 will be available to try - Mr Pavey's vehicle of choice no doubt.

Did knacker my ankle though - their boots really aren't up to much.
I wouldn't worry about stuff being water-proof either. You get so sweated up you're grateful for the rain.

I planned to do it last year... but kept procrastinating... then they were fully booked :( - so stop fannying about and just book it NOW! :D

I booked for March this yr and couldn't find accomodation... but then had to change date (for other reasons) and am now booked for the Easter w/e in April. Thought I'd never find anywhere to stay that w/e, but got in at the Abercrave no probs!

See you there??? :beerjug:

Thanks for responses.

You were, of course, absolutely right. Booked up til June! :(

most important, GOOD BOOTS go buy if you don`t own already, they charged some guy loads of money to hire thiers.

Also two broken ankles on our day dew to crap boots.

Also NO FIRST AID when we were there so take some pain killers, a splint and bandages NO JOKE !!! INSTEAD of proper boots.

Excellent course, excellent people, excellent learning, excellent experience. In my experience (no previous off-road experience).
