bmw park lane/longcross

just got back home after spending an absolutly fantastic day at longcross in surrey which was their ride and drive experience and i took an old mate of mine who started his biking days with me back in the mid 70s on fsie,s.

i originally planned to ride a couple of bikes and drive a couple of cars but it did not quite work out that way,because when we got there and i noticed the bikes lined up the last thing on my mind was a car

my mate and i rode 6 bikes each including r1200rt,r1200st,r1200gs,1150gsa,r1100s boxer cup and the bike i wanted to test ride was not among those available the k1200lt but when one of the guys who were leading the ride outs heard me say it he arranged for me to ride his

i just wanted to say a big thankyou to all the park lane staff and everyone else involved in arranging such a well organised and enjoyable day

Went up there today and got a go on the R1200RT, R1200GS and the K1200S. A 20 minute route along some local roads. And some great deals on the 2004 BMW clothing. I got a Streetguard jacket for £100 (beats your 35% discount Bill ) and SWMBO got a system 4 for £100.

A very good day out indeed. Nice one Park Lane!
