Folks,

Anyone see the BMW R1100GS special in this months (June 2007 issue) about the Special created by Alister Chapman ?? It wasn''t a full feature, but was in the "Show us Yours - Reader's Bikes" section. I'd be interested in more photographs and details of the mods. Liked the WP front USD suspension and the colour scheme.

If you look on AdvRider there is a bloke that that shows a full WP conversion to usdf, - not sure how i found it but it is there, honest

Toyed with the idea of trying it myself, but really only dreaming.

If you have any pics of the bike in the mag, can you uplaod them.

i think its the biggest article on the 1100 on AdvRider.
the guy did an awesome job.if he was buying the parts in £-gbp i wonder if he would of done so much.

I was thinking of starting a thread trying to get info on this conversion kit http://www.bakker-framebouw.nl/English/Products/Motorbikes.html Price etc. But after my last little thread maybe ill give it a miss

That is an interesting sump guard - it looks like chequered plate.
