Is that before or after the stock market crash the Bank of England are forecastingMy advice would be just to use it this year and see if the market bounces back.
It’s been poor for two years due to many things but I see it picking up this year
Can’t see the bike market recovering much - slight increase in prices now in Spring with the new biking season thoughIs that before or after the stock market crash the Bank of England are forecasting![]()
Very true. The market is very weak at the moment and the guys who revered these bikes [ like me ] are getting older. I saw a recent programme of Bangers and Cash auction and beautiful Vincent Rapide sold for 29.5 k. Ten years ago I had to meet the owner to see if I was suitable to purchase a similar bike at 50k with so many potential buyers. This is the current market sadly.
And everyone needs to remember the clusterfuck to pricing that COVID caused... The rush for classics and "projects" was not just vehicles...Can’t see the bike market recovering much - slight increase in prices now in Spring with the new biking season though

Agreed ^^^^^^ the spare money knocking about in Covid sent the prestige wristwatch mkt bonkers. Patek Phillipe Nautilus , list ( if you are chosen) £60k maxed out at just under £200k. Even modest Subs hit £11k.And everyone needs to remember the clusterfuck to pricing that COVID caused... The rush for classics and "projects" was not just vehicles...
The housing market has been the same as everyone rushed to the country...
Most of the battle with classics is finding a buyer in the first place...
At least R90s like older GSs have always had lots of classic appeal...![]()

Also the feeding frenzy on flipping Porsche GT3’s for double list overnight was common.
Anyway bump for Khulu’s lovely 90s
Took mine over to Wolverhampton Motorrad today and just about to leave when the head sales guy asked if they could photo it next to the R12 homage. He said his dad had one from new, lucky guy. The management suits all gathered round, that's an iconic bike for you. Can't say I noticed those particular markets...
Like you say, good luck to the seller as buyer and price will match eventually...![]()
Last chance bump (seeing as it's my birthday today) before I go to plan B or C.Anyone fancy it for £8.5k?
