I would like to tell you all how helpful everyone was at BMW SOUTH LONDON on fixing my 1200 GS a few days ago. it has a few months left on its warranty and i noticed the usual flaking of paint on the front engine cover due to salt. and rusty bolts on the discs and fuel cap flaking.

Which you dont expect on such a new bike! Anyway these guys sorted this straight away without and any problems.
All new parts and labour at no cost to myself. And all the coffee i could drink!!!

Total satisfaction, its a shame more dealers arent like this.

Different experience

I visited them yesterday shopping for a GS and they seemed not to care if they ever saw me again or not. Perhaps I just look poor?

Went for two fairing fasteners for my RT yesterday as the hex hole bit had rounded off.

Bloke gave 'em me for free

Bad timing? I dropped off my GS for some remedial work around 11am yesterday and the sales guys seemed busy while I waited for Matt in service to finish what he was doing (he had offered to drop me off at Caterham station).

I've always found everybody at Slm very helpful and suspect you just caught them at a busy time. It happens. I wouldn't conclude that they don't want your business. Just make an appointment next time. That usually works. That way you also can be sure that any bike you're interested in is available for a test ride.

I am sorry we did not get the chance to spend more time with you on Saturday when you came in for your test ride, or give you the attention we would normally. Anyone who comes here deserves our full attention, poor or rich looking it makes no difference to us, you are all important customers. Tony was on his own on Saturday as we had a few people off from the showroom including myself, and it got VERY busy. It was rather a one-off. Anyway, please do come back and see us and I will be delighted to help you myself, and my coffee making skills are legendary !! Alaric
