books on advanced riding?

Reading books and going on courses is like doing the same for ( instance) fishing.

Great in theory. But fish don't read the same book or do the same course.

Your either a person who likes courses and lessons, or your out there doing it. :D

Phooey, your 2 penneth is valuable I think. I've grown up with a police advanced trained rider who has taught and examined the IOM riders. The man is awesome on a bike and is smooooooooooooooooth. Of course he old and passed it now (god I hope he doesn't read this thread, cause he still got arms like Popeye!!!!) but I don't think that any civilian course is close to the police training.
I suggest Roadcraft cause if it's good enough for riders who are 100 times better than me, then it's got to be worth something (it's saved my life a few times).
I am not saying that civilian advanced motoring courses aren't valid because of course they are if they help people stay alive. There are some exceptional riders out there that have had extra training, and I believe that anything that you can gain from a qualified instructor is valuable. It doesn't matter who's best just get out there and learn to stay alive, after all they'll all teach you the same thing cause there really is only one safe way to ride!!!!!!
