Boot Marks

Words well said, respected geezer, but nonetheless perhaps I can offer some kind of `blingy heel guard`?

I have noooo idea if I can - I just like the sound of my own voice..................

I feel you should offer a blingy heel guard, it would obviously sell if the OP and his brethren are anything to go by:thumb2

How are those magnificent crutches coming along:D:thumb

Fucking told ya......:thumb

seemingly you are right att - btw I asked Martin to pass on my best wishes to you and to show you a photo where I look a right fekkin idiot (doesn`t take much)

The photo is unimportant the best wishes aren't

I`ll see if I can find the photo to substantiate the fekkin idiot claim.......

Thanks att but I`m hating the crutches. Mark (a far better man then I will ever be) is an inspiration - I just feel a total last tw*t at work unable to help the lads.

My only `get fekked` to all of it was having the op on Friday, being given a sick note for six weeks and being back at work Monday morning.

me and my bezzie - `sponge`

So, very sincere apologies for moving off topic, honestly. And I will get back `on side` but I had to share this so that att does indeed know me for the fekkin idiot I am.

Hi

I have noticed that the boots I wear have worn the grey frame paint off both sides of the GS but especially the left hand side (clutch side).

Apart from the touratech frame guards has anybody got any good suggestion for how to cover these or protect the frame from furhter boot damage please...

Geezer, there are many solutions available but if you get stuck then I`d be happy to help if I can - I won`t necessarily charge as it might not work or just be sh*te but I am happy to help - drop me a pm or an email to [email protected] and I will help if I can.

Sorry for hijacking the thread - really am - but I`m now back on track!

Just wait until the OP (or his pillion) puts boot marks on his panniers :D

Bloody Hell !!! :rob

How the feck does my wife do it??

My top box (ugly as it is and only ever used for two up) is just mullered with bloody boot marks and scuffs. It looks like Rooney has been playing keepy uppy with it .... :blast

Sigh .... It's like taking a kid with adht out with me ...

Sorry Mark, but I agree with JB.:rob OP, what's wrong with helicopter tape?:nenau

Tbh helicopter tape, apart from being comparatively fragile, is a damn good idea I think :thumb

And I also am thankful for all opinions - coz I have no idea - I actually like my solution but that just goes to show you!

Hopefully cybergizmo will see that I`ve made an attempt to help and will choose what he wishes - with the helicopter tape taking some beating :clap

latest redesign

Here`s the latest redesign incorporating JB`s opinion and suggestions from other kindly folk.

Gizmo - just tell me which style you like and I will send them free to you as a thank you for waiting while I came up with some options for you :thumb

Hi all. Mak manufactured and posted me some of these lovely boots frame guards. I fitted then last Friday then promptly road to Wales for a weekend. Despite the puncture in the way there and one I the guys high siding in diesel on way back :( we had a cracking weekend.

The guards worked a treat. Had to adjust the one on the left (clutch) side as the heal of my boot was catching the center stand with were I had it fitted originally but have to say they work. Look great and got a few positive comments from other BMW owners. :).

Here are some photos
