you can get them rebuit for a little over £100 +postage ABE or Firefox racing come to mind, but I would be surprised if there is noone in Ireland offering the service

cheers kenny
i rang a few places and got a non rebuild able off them
ill try the places you suggested
appreciate your input cheers :aidan

not quite sure where its leaking from
certainly getting very spongy though
and there is dirty fluid under the shock on the swingarm

shock!

I'm going through the same dilemma at the moment. I took it to a place that said they could do it and guess what, I ended up fetching it back. I bought one off ebay the other day that said it had only done 17,800mls... it was the same as mine at 76,000, fecked! (thankfully I can get a refund) I'm now thinking of biting the bullet and going for the Hyperpro street box set. Now, what can I sell next...

Forgot to say, Give Clarence Bell at PLR Suspension a call on: 028427 88854 He does rebuilds so I hear and I think he's in Irland.

Try a shop in kimmage I can't think of the name but it's beside where Red Zone ust to b JJH

Posted mine to ABE and it was a great job. Cheaper than two return journeys, time and inconvenience to take it somewhere myself.

cheers guys
ill get on the phone monday
have been watching fleabay myself but didnt want to buy something that wasnt far
off what i have :bounce1

They drill a hole in the case to release any gas pressure. Then it's a straight forward strip and rebuild. A gas valve goes into the drilled hole.

well lads decided to take out the shock and just see if there was anything on it numbers or
such
and as i never really looked at it or paid it too much heed
i got a wee shock myself
its a wilburs and so is easily rebuild-able and once i cleaned it
nice and shiny so i should be able to get it done local
