My bike is a 2008 GSA that I purchased from my BMW dealer in 2010 & has a full service history, with the last two carried out by an independant.
The dreaded brake failure light has been coming on intermittently over the last couple of weeks & after replacing the battery & ABS sensors I had it plugged in at the local BMW dealer to discover the pump is on its way out!
They have emailed BMW to ask if it can be replaced under good wil, if so I would only have to pay the labour £140ish rather than about £1200 for the pump.
Has anyone else had the ABS pump replaced under good will & would the last two services that have not been at a dealer have a bearing ?

A six year old bike.......Good luck with the good will.
Worth a punt though, you never know.
Can't see servicing having any effect.

If it were me, I wouldn't bother replacing it.

Back of the net :thumb2 Id be sticking with that dealer where appropriate.

It's probably sticking motor brushes in the ABS pump unit (a common problem on that type of pump.)
