brake help please

hi guys i have a 2001 1150gs and i am in the proses of changing my front pads and i have found a bulge on my on my brake line from the right side (if sat on the bike) caliper just under the splitter.

can anyone tell me where i can get a new line and is it a job for a novice or will i have to bite the bullet

It's an easy job and gives you the opportunity to rearrange the hose layout to ensure there are no tight spots when the handle bars are moved between the lock stops.

At that age, especially with a hose failure, you may want to replace all of the flexible hoses. I used HEL stainless but there is a thread on here were a number of people have had them fail. Mine are OK so far.

Measure the lengths and connection totations and they make them to order as do many other suppliers.
