I have a problem with the brakes on my 03 Adventure non ABS.For the past month I have thought that my brakes were not biteing as hard as they had been plus I was sensing a "pulsing" feeling when coming to a stop.I thought the discs and pads may have a glaze on them so last week I removed discs and pads and gave the discs a go over with fine emery paper and the same with the pads on a flat surface. All parts were put back in the same positions they came from.
Last week I had to take the bike in for a couple of other faults to be fixed. This was a round trip of about 90 miles so the brakes had chance to bed in a bit again. Now the braking performance seems good again but but the pulsing has become a judder which is really bad when braking hard.
The bike has 17000 miles and is in warranty,I have today measured the discs on the wheels with a fixed point and there does'nt appear to be any warpage.
Any ideas or should I just hand it to the dealer?
