Brake pads - ive a 3000 mile trip planned in the not too distant future , bike is on 3700 miles, would you swap the front pads out i am not sure how many mm they are from new? If its low cost might be best just to get done. They could be a tiny bit sharper if im honest but work fine.

Rears were new about 800 Miles ago.

If the bike's on 3700 and the rear pads were changed 800 miles ago (at 2900 miles???) and I had a 3000 mile trip planned, I'd be taking a set of rear pads with me.

Just poped a set of brand new rear pads This morning on my 2018 KTM 1290 SAS. The nearly worn out ones have done 20400 miles from new. The front ones, still plenty of life in them.

Both of my GS/A bikes needed a new set of rears every 6-7k miles. Which means the traction control is way too aggressive.

I believe it's the linked brake system doing it, rather than TC.

Where do you guys order your brake pads from?

Never changed my own before, so thinking of giving it a go.

I’ve ordered my EBC set from sportbikeshop, requested a price match to Deamon Tweaks, which they granted it by sending me a code, drove to my local SBS paid £18 and took 5 minutes this morning swapping them.
