Brake Pressure

My front brakes dont appear to be holding pressure ? once there pumped back up, I'm getting a "psst" noise from under the tank, had the tank off, and theres no signs of any leaks. With the engine running I cant hear the noise, but it could be its getting drowned out. Does the engine need to be running for the ABS system to pressurise ?

Have you got a servo assisted bike? if so yes, if not no.

EMMMMMMMMM ??????? dont know, bikes a 96 model with ABS

It has recently been in the "lying on its side position"
So suspect I might have trapped some air in the system.
