Brake warning light

HELP! when driving into work this morning my Brake warning light came on
Any one got any suggestions as to why this might have happened?.

I stopped and had a good look around but no obvious problems so took it
easy and drove into work and had another look at cables etc. but can’t see anything.
Open to suggestions before phoning the garage.

I'd guess a 1200 GS.

Checked the brake pads, brake fluid, brake light filament, brake lever microswitches?

Gone down to many wrong paths doing that.

I'm assuming it's one and of course to assume is to make an "ass" out of "u" and "me".

I think we might get a little more information later, including the colour of the vehicle in question.
