Brakes...again........sorry

Just fitted new rear pads ...............Took the bike around the block and there's a bit of noise from them. Is this normal or maybe I stuck them in wrongly . Any info re fitting of the pads and mistakes I may have made much appreciated . Or maybe they should make abit of noise until bedded in ???????

Could be because there not bedded in yet and the pads need to conform to all the tiny ridges on the disc face, also if you've fitted sintered pads these tend to be noisier than standard if I remember correctly from my sports bike days

That explains it. They will be a bit noisier until they bed in, then you still might hear them a bit.

They are reputed to wear the rotors a bit faster though.
