Hey all,
Anyone else suffer from mysterious lack of bite from the brakes. My 14 model GSA brakes were OK, its a big lump to stop and I never had much cause for complaint. It got stolen, so I got a 16 model GSA and I haven't got on with the brakes at all. Does anyone know if anything changed?
I find the brakes are 'squishy', I have had the pads replaced and the dealership say they have also bled the system, but I have to have the lever on the furthest out position to stop it coming back to my fingers. Back brake is also very soft, having to apply a lot of downwards movement to get any sort of purchase.......I realise front and back are linked so to have both 'squishy' leaves me a bit mystified as to where the root of the problem is?
Dealership doesn't really seem to think there is an issue, but when I use loan bikes their brakes are far better. There have been times where the lever is pulled in so far I am worried its not going to stop the bike in time.....brakes being useful for stopping and all that!
Anyone got any recommendations, or had similar experience they have managed to solve?
Cheers.
