Brand New Product... Battery/Alternator Monitor.

Hi, I sent you a PM but never got a reply. Do you have any of these left? How much + postage to Istanbul? Also, would I be able to wire both the + & -to a fuse panel, or does it have to be installed as in your guide?

Thanks.
D

That reminds me...

i had a long running battle with my Guzzi and a little earth problem.
I finally got it fixed - today! :bounce1
Well - i say "I" / it was a kind soul that's not electrophobic wot did it / not me. :blast
Thank you Mototechnic in Dublin. :clap

ANYhow,
the irony of it was that at least some of the problem in finding and curing the problem, was that my effin voltmeter on the bike was giving a faulty reading! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

somehow i couldn't see that happening with one of these yokes. :thumb2

Stock

Ive got a few units in today, and those will be the last.
The fella who makes them for me isnt doing them anymore, so if you want one be quick.
atb Paul

Just connected it up on the GS1200. If you don't count the time to take off a panel and putting in fiddly cable ties in inaccessable places it takes about five minutes to fit and connect to the centec fuse panel!

I now know that the alternator can drive the motolights, main and dip beam and the grips on full at tickover :clap

Thanks Paul :thumb2

Hi mate, fitted my monitor today, alls good...cheers!

very fast blink red= below 10 volts, def not good, batt well flat or not charging when engine running
med fast blinky red= 10-11 volts ,not good, batt well flat, or not charging when engine running
solid red=battery voltage below 12 volts, not good, batt flat or very poorly charging when engine running.
amber= ready to go, above 12 and below 12.8, expected standby voltage, or only charging poorly when engine running.may also indicate too many accessories on when running.
green then off = good to go.above 12.8 and below 14.6,charging well, all's well.
blinky green= above 14.6 ,over charging, again not good, but will get you home.seek a professional for assistance.

Quick question...are the figures listed above for when the bike is running? Reason I ask is that when I turn the igniton to on I get a medium blinking red light but then goes green after she fires up. Also if I switch on the Micro DE's and FF50's together while idleing it goes solid red...but will go green again if I gas it a little. Does all that sound normal?

Got any KTM ones left? (990 Adv) I noticed from an earlier post you had some spare.
This would be useful on my daily commute with it all the lights on and warm hands?
